Work

Websites and software built for real businesses, mostly in Suffolk. I have not put invented statistics on these — if you want to know how a job went, ask and I will put you in touch with the client.

Every client named here has said yes in writing. I ask first, every time, and anyone who would rather not be named simply is not.

If you would rather click through a finished site than read a description of one, the Wrenhythe showcase is twelve complete websites built for an invented Suffolk town, all live and all open to look through.

Paid client work

Clients

Web Design & Local SEO

AC Guttering

Marketing site built to turn a local search into a phone call. Structured so the areas covered are legible to both customers and search engines.

Custom Web App

AC Guttering — Job & Customer System

A custom system for tracking customers, jobs and quotes, built around how the business already worked rather than forcing it onto off-the-shelf software. Designed to be usable from a phone on site.

Web Design & Local SEO

AC Exterior

Site for an exterior cleaning firm, sharing a visual family with the guttering side while standing on its own in local search.

Web Design

Pampered Pooch Dog Grooming

Marketing site for a groomer who travels to the customer, built so booking an appointment is the easiest thing on the page and the area covered is clear at a glance.

My own projects

Also built

Built for myself rather than for a client, and here because it shows what I can build rather than because someone paid me for it.

Web Design

HorseDex — product site

The product site for a horse health journal app of my own, currently in private testing: what it does, questions, release notes and support, all public before the app is. Live and open to look at, which makes it the easiest example of my web design to judge for yourself. The app behind it is Kalkman Code’s work, not Kalkman Digital’s — this is the site.

Dashboard & Automation

PowerPlant

Reads a solar inverter directly and decides when to charge the battery against off-peak electricity pricing. Built for my own house, and the reason I am comfortable quoting for hardware integration work.
